Help me. Help you. Help others to get through.

At this uncertain, difficult, bewildering time…

How can I help me?

How can I help you?

How do we help others get through?

By following the guidelines to be healthy and by adhering to safety protocols to support one another :)

How can we help our relationships survive? (or necessarily to end?)

If our intent is to love then that needs to be backed up by our actions even when there is tension & stress.

Please note: Misplaced tension, heightened emotional reactions and lashing out often result in family violence, damaged relationships and increased divorce rates. If violence is already present then be encouraged to takes steps to end an already unhealthy relationship.

Everyone needs to

  • Be safe…take steps to end an already unhealthy relationship especially if violent - accept that this relationship really has ended and put your energies into being safe.

  • Be proactive to restore/maintain an otherwise healthy relationship - accept that we are only human and doing the best we can. All relationships require work.

  • Be empathic and compassionate…to others and to yourself as we are all in this together!

  • Use humour to lighten the mood and to help reduce the tension…find creative ways to connect and relate to others that you are with a lot more than usual and with those that you are not.

We offer our support and will endeavour to help you to make sense of the world as we now know it!

If you’re stuck?
